Just weeks after the recall of Chinese milk products tainted with melamine comes another Asian food scandal. The Japanese company Nissin Food Products, Co. has withdrawn its Cup Noodle brand of instant noodles nationwide after a woman fell ill from eating noodles later found to be contaminated with paradichlorobenzene, a chemical used in insect repellent.
